I love soup. I love stew. So much so, in fact, that my friend gave me this cookbook as a birthday present. And it’s a good one. It’s full of useful information - tips and tricks, measurement conversion charts, nutritional information, and basic stock and broth recipes. It contains recipes that are quick and easy to those that need to simmer for a while longer. The main sections are broken down by type - classic, hearty stews, chilis, chowders & bisques, and vegetable soups (not all boring veggie soups either). And, the cherry on top, is a section for breads and salads, because soup is always better when there’s something to accompany it. Each recipe is paired with a beautiful and appetizing photograph. If you’re a big soup fan, this is a great addition to your collection.
