What I Talk About When I Talk About Running

What I Talk About When I Talk About Running - Haruki Murakami, Philip Gabriel There were certain passages of this book where Murakami perfectly articulated the motivation behind distance running and other moments that I thought provided some interesting insight on his novels, and for those I think it's worth a read. That said, even though Murakami and distance running are two of my favorite things, I just couldn't find the rhythm here. Unlike other running books I've read, it didn't give me the urge to lace up and head out. I was expecting to really love it though, so, to be fair, I could have been holding it to some unreasonably high standards.
